COACH Paul Roos says the tests keep coming with this Saturday’s encounter against St Kilda at Etihad Stadium.

Roos said it would be another good challenge for his team, after coming off consecutive wins against Collingwood and Richmond respectively.

“They’ve played really well against us in the last couple of years and they’re a good young team, with some experienced players like [Nick] Riewoldt, [Leigh] Montagna, [Sam] Fisher and [Sean] Dempster, so they’ve got a good mix,” he said on Roos’ Views.

“They had a bit of a down one last week and a terrific game the week before, so we’re preparing for their best – and their best has been very good.”

Roos praised the Melbourne faithful for getting behind the team against Richmond at the MCG on ANZAC Day Eve, which resulted in a 33-point win over the Tigers.

“I think the crowd response and the amount of Melbourne supporters that were there was fantastic,” he said.

“To get nearly 60,000 people there and to play like we did was really good for the club.

“Richmond was under siege, as Collingwood was the week before, so we’ve had two really hard games. We’ve come out of them with two really good wins.”
