VERSATILE tall Sam Frost will miss the next four to six matches with a toe injury, which he sustained in round three.

Frost was subbed out during the second term of Saturday’s 25-point loss to the Adelaide Crows at Adelaide Oval on Saturday.

Manager of football operations Josh Mahoney said Frost would be sidelined until at least mid-May.

“Sam had a scan yesterday on his toe, which revealed a small crack on the bottom of his toe,” he said.

“At this stage, it’ll be a four to six week injury.”

Frost has played 24 matches, including the opening three rounds for Melbourne, after joining from GWS via last year’s trade period.
