MELBOURNE FOOTBALLER Jack Trengove visited Malvern Primary School on Wednesday to promote the 20th anniversary of NAB AFL Auskick.

Auskick is a program which provides boys and girls aged between five and 12 with a fun and inclusive opportunity to learn the basic skills and rules of Australian Rules Football.

Last year, more than 178,000 children took part in the Auskick program at 2,800 centres around the country.

At the launch in Malvern, Trengove also got the chance to meet plenty of young Melbourne supporters.

Malvern is deep in Melbourne’s traditional supporter heartland, with a high percentage of the club’s supporters living within the Stonnington, Boroondara and Bayside regions.
