The Kaspersky Cup Shanghai Showdown match between Melbourne and the Brisbane Lions at Jiangwan Stadium on Sunday October 17 won’t be televised into Australia.

It will only be broadcast in China, which is set to attract a viewing audience of an estimated 300 million.

Due to restrictions, the club won’t be able to provide regular Twitter and Facebook updates from China.

But we are endevouring to provide some website content.

Melbourne’s key destinations include Moganshan, Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong.

The 14-day tour runs from Sunday October 10 to Saturday 23.

A touring party of 130 people is set to attend - believed to be the biggest trip ever conducted by an AFL club.
