Dear members,

I would like to thank you for demonstrating your passion and belief in the Melbourne Football Club by purchasing your membership for the 2010 season.

We have had a fantastic response from the red and blue faithful this year, so much so that we have surpassed the previous Club membership record.  We now have 33,358 members.

This figure has grown steadily over the last few years, and is critical to the success of the Melbourne Football Club.  An increasingly financially viable and sustainable Melbourne Football Club is something that we all want for many years to come.

These numbers have been reflected on match days, where the stands are now full with red and blue and the players have noticed the wonderful support emanating from the crowd.  Your presence at our games, and the vocal support you have given the team, has added enormously to the atmosphere of the game and hopefully your enjoyment.

Last but not least, we thank you for your contribution to Debt Demolition over the past three years.  When we started as a board one of our first priorities was to reduce the debt and we didn’t say how long it was going to take - we just said we were going to get rid of it.  We could never have imagined clearing it so quickly, which is a testament to the passion that Melbourne supporters have for their club.
