As an elite sporting Club and a high profile organisation, MELBOURNEfc recognises that those involved in the Club have an obligation to give something back to the community. In recent years the Club has worked with the following organisations:
Lord Mayor’s Charitable Fund

The Lord Mayor's Charitable Fund aims to improve the quality of life through the development of community philanthropy in Melbourne, and provides financial support to appropriate hospitals and charitable organisations that address community health and welfare needs. These organisations include all of MELBOURNEfc’s other Community Partners.
Berry Street

Berry Street exists to increase life chances and choices for children and young people who are at risk, or who have experienced the trauma of family violence, child abuse and neglect. For over 20 years, Melbourne and Richmond have raised money for Berry Street by playing a match for the Berry Street Cup. MELBOURNEfc players take part in ongoing activities throughout the year as part of Berry Street’s mentoring and volunteering programs.
Prostate Cancer Foundation

The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia is the peak body for prostate cancer research and support in Australia. MELBOURNEfc helps to provide awareness for the cause through joint partnerships around match day and major events. In 2007, the Club took part in ‘Undie Mundie’ at its Queen’s Birthday game against Collingwood.
Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA)

BCNA provides a variety of programs to raise awareness of breast cancer and provide support to survivors and their families. In 2005, the very first ‘Field of Women’ took place at a MELBOURNEfc home game. The Club contributes five percent of profits from its Major Raffle to BCNA, and continues to promote breast cancer awareness through our match day partnership for the annual Women’s Round.
