Community Requests
The Melbourne Football Club receives hundreds of requests from community organisations every year. We take pride in our commitment to fulfill as many of these requests as possible. With only a limited number of signed items available each year, requests are not always successful with priority given to major charities and peak community organisations within the City of Casey. If we are unable to fulfill your request for a signed item, we will still aim to assist you in some capacity.
Match Tickets
The Melbourne Football Club receives many requests to assist with ticketing from a wide range of community groups including schools, junior football clubs, youth and church groups and formal organisations supporting specific disadvantaged or disability groups.
Our Demon Heartland Community Bay is specifically designed to accommodate such requests. Through the generosity of our loyal members and supporters, we have a limited number of ‘sponsored’ tickets available for each home game at the MCG.
Requests for Financial Assistance
The Melbourne Football club is NOT in a position to offer cash donations or sponsorships.
Signed Items
The club does not accept any individual items to be signed. We cannot guarantee that all Items sent to the club for this purpose will be returned. We encourage all members and supporters to attend training sessions (as advertised on the website) as players are generally happy to sign autographs before and after training. From time to time signed items are available for purchase via the Demon Auctions website.
Player Requests
While the club welcomes requests for player appearances, due to the player’s busy schedule it is not always possible to accommodate such requests. The player’s appearances are scheduled at the start of the season and it is quite difficult to provide players for additional visits.
Mascot requests
The Melbourne Football Club mascots, Checker and Chuck, are available to make appearances at community events, subject to availability. Both are very popular, especially with kids. The cost of paying someone to wear the mascot suit may be passed on to your organisation (usually $50 per hour).
Lodging Requests
· Requests can be submitted electronically by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page.
· Requests must be submitted at least three weeks prior to the event or they will not be considered. During the off-season (November to February) requests are generally not able to be serviced.
· The club will respond to your request within five working days.
