Share your passion for the Melbourne Football Club by becoming part of our Cheer Squad. The Cheer Squad is one of the most visible and recognised sectors of the Club’s supporting community, and has been so since at least the 1950s.
Cheer Squad members have the privilege of being as close to the action as you can get as a supporter. Located behind the goals in a family friendly environment, the Cheer Squad adds to the voice and colour of match days. The Cheer Squad also shares the responsibility of preparing the weekly run through, and representing the Club Australia wide.
New members are always welcome! We want to see our Cheer Squad grow, and we encourage you to join us and enjoy the benefits experienced by our current members. Cheer Squad members must hold a 2010 Melbourne Football Club membership to be eligible to join.
Benefits of a 2010 Cheer Squad membership include:
- Exclusive Cheer Squad Member Poncho
- The best seats in the house on match day
- Access to reserved seats at away games
- The chance to walk onto the G to display the Club banner
- Access to social functions, with player appearances
- Access to ticketing privileges
- A place to share your passion, and meet new Demon friends
- Cheer Squad welcome booklet, with Club chants
- Finals tickets eligibility (should Melbourne compete, the Cheer Squad is allocated specific finals tickets, which are allocated to active Cheer Squad members).

Banner Making
All Cheer Squad members (over 10 years of age) have the opportunity of assisting with the production of the match day banner. A Cheer Squad run through construction session is conducted weekly at The Bentleigh Club – members can simply turn up and talk to the supervisors to learn how to assist. Basic food and drink is provided.
