The background to MELBOURNEfc’s connection with China is simple and founded in a healthy heritage. China and the state of Victoria have a relationship that stretches back to the time of colonial settlement in the 1850s. Melbourne and the Chinese city of Tianjin formed the first Australian-Chinese city relationship over 25 years ago.
